- Feb 2026: Gave a talk at Bennett University’s GSoC session on picking an organization and writing a proposal (slides, post).
- Dec 2025: Attended the NASA Openscapes earthaccess Hackday, gaining hands-on experience with the earthaccess library and cloud-native data virtualization workflows using Icechunk.
- May 2025: Selected for Google Summer of Code 2025 with OSGeo, building GeoCroissant and STAC tools for ZOO-Project.
- Jan 2025: Started as a research intern at MRSAC, working on satellite land cover segmentation and farm boundaries.
- Aug 2024: Finished 2nd Runner-Up at the VNIT Geo Spatial AI Challenge (ISRO-RRSC) for tree canopy counting from satellite data.
- Jul 2024: Joined the Google Cloud Arcade Facilitator Program as a student mentor.
Experience
I got to contribute to the
OSGeo Foundation through Google Summer of Code, building GeoCroissant and geospatial metadata tools for the ZOO-Project. Before, I was a research intern at
MRSAC in the Digital Image Processing Lab, where I was advised by Sanjay V. Balamwar on satellite remote sensing and land cover analysis.
